Tearing out an old floor is the messiest part of a flooring project, and the part most homeowners would rather not do themselves — especially tile on a slab.
We remove carpet, tile, laminate, vinyl and the leftover adhesive under it, then level and clean the slab so the new floor has a proper surface to sit on. Debris leaves with us.
Tile and thinset removal
The hard one. We break out tile and grind down the thinset ridges left behind.

Plastic barriers and vacuum-assisted tools so the rest of the house stays livable.

Do I need to leave the house during tile removal?
Most people stay. It's loud, so many homeowners plan to be out during the noisiest hours, but we contain the dust room by room.
Do you handle the disposal?
Yes. Removal, loading and disposal are included in the estimate.
Can you remove flooring without installing a new one?
Yes, we do removal-only jobs. Just tell us when you request the estimate.
What about asbestos in old flooring?
Very old sheet vinyl and adhesive can contain asbestos. If we suspect it, we stop and tell you — testing and abatement need a licensed specialist.
